MVARA License Classes
If you are interested in talking with people around the area and around the globe, communications and electronic technology, off the grid communications, or serving your community in good times and during disasters, ham radio could be for you.
The MVARA can help you get or upgrade your amateur radio license, set up your station, and get on the air.
We periodically offer License Classes. Our next class will be for the entry level
technician license. The first class will be March 5, 2024 at 6:00 pm at the Boardman Library 7680 Glenwood Ave,
Boardman, OH 44512 in the small meeting room. For your convenience additional classes will be done online.
If there are no classes scheduled or you can’t attend classes, we can assign an amateur to mentor your self study using our recommended study materials and techniques that have helped many people get or upgrade their licenses.
